powerguy | 1st Deal - [video/audio/action]

[Hey, City! Do you think it's been a while since you've had a new recruit? Then today might be your lucky day. The video feed opens to a dark haired man passed out on the concrete beside the fountain. He stirs slowly, a hand coming up to cradle his head as he peers around him, slowly taking in surroundings. He’s fairly young, dressed in jeans and an expensive-looking blue hoodie. Half a tattoo can be see curling around his neck from under his collar. He pushes himself up onto one hand, the other still clutching his head. He still has a bewildered look on his face, although if that's from being dumped into a strange place or just is default state is soon to be discovered. When he speaks, it’s with a fairly strong Manchester accent.]

Kelly? Guys?

[With a groan, he pushes himself up onto his feet. He notices the device out of the corner of his eye. Mistaking it for his cellphone, he picks it up and flicks through it.]

Where the fuck is signal in this place?

[He scratches the back of his neck with his free hand as he keeps moving the phone around, looking for signal. He sighs and punches a number into the device and hits enter, inadvertently switching to audio.]

Kelly? Where are you? I don’t think I know where I am. Call me, yeah?

[The feed ends.]

And then her brain actually starts working. Nathan's from a bit in her future. Unless he's a total prick and is lying - but then, why would he? He's been pretty consistent with continuity so far - and so, if Nathan's from her future, maybe this Seth bloke is, too.

Did Alisha ever mention she fucking hates timelines? ]

[At least that's the last thing he remembers that she was there for. After that was a lot of arguing in his flat. And then a lot of making up. He hasn't been outside for a few days.]

[Seth's problem solving skills generally remain the the style of - here is a problem, use power on problem, hope problem goes away. It's only turned out disastrously a few times.]

Doubt it. We get hit with curses every other day and no one really knows what's going on.

[Seth finds a bench nearby to sit down and read it. His face remains in its default state of perplexed and slightly lost the whole time.]

[ So, his usual face, then.

Alisha shrugs. ] I kind of don't think about it, to be honest. I ignore half of the shit that happens here.

Dumb question since you only know two of us here, but, has anyone come to get you yet? This place is pretty shit and I know what it's like to try and find your way around by yourself.

[It's lucky when he remembers to keep his mouth closed.]

No. I only showed up a few minutes ago.
